I've had around £1,500 moved from confirmed to pending today - anyone else seen this in their account??

It's not just one merchant either.

Not had a confirmed order changed to pending, but I have had a declined one changed to pending.

    Something seems amiss.

Has definately happened...I have 619 pending commissions...and I cleared everything at 1pm. At this stage I'd expect to have perhaps 10 or so.

I've raised an urgent ticket with Awin and suggest everyone affected the same...and until then I am not going to clear them down as I am not sure whether they are duplicates or new...

How long is this likely to be down?

I get really upset when someone takes over £4000 out of my approved area!

Is this just to give certain merchants the chance to delete sales because they have over spent on their budget?

I was really happy with Awin up till this point but with no info to go on what do people expect!

Things still not working - but more importantly, has anyone seen any new pendings since the problem arose?

    None here!

I've always found AWIN honest about any problems and fair in their treatment of affiliates, i seem to remeber they had a problem recently and paid compensation at seemed like a very generous rate.

I for one am happy to let them resolve their problems and would not even consider moving any links.

Here is what the merchants have been told...

I am writing to inform you of a serious incident that has possibly affected your affiliate marketing programme with Affiliate Window, and to apologise sincerely for all of the inconvenience that it may cause.

Yesterday evening, one of our technical team mistakenly ran a script which has irrevocably reversed all of the transactions on some accounts since the 10th of June 2004. No data has been lost, only the status of the transactions has been reset. This means that potentially all of your transactions since the 10th June, whether you have confirmed them as genuine or declined them as invalid, have been reset to 'Pending' status.

In order to move forward, I have to ask you to go into your account and, if your transactions have been reset to pending status, revalidate all of your transactions from the 10th June. I know that for some of you this will entail a great deal of work, and I am
