There appears to be something wrong with the AW product feeds (I've raised a ticket).

As a word of caution to anyone running a product feed update (as it has been unavailable for a while due to another problem), please be aware that some of the data is completely incorrect

    For example,

The Bears By Mail feed contains products for City Breakaways
The Car Parts Finder feed contains products for E Factory Deals
The DVD Players UK contains products for OFFTEK Computer Memory Upgrades.

There may be more - but I abandoned my update at this point (what alerted me initially was the fact the DVD Players UK feed normally contains around 200 products - it is now close to 20,000! - If you examine the feed, you soon discover the reason!)

I've deleted the "corrupted" data for Bears By Mail and Car Parts Finder from my database until this problem is resolved.

I just thought I'd raise this as a warning to any fellow affiliates, before they also have their databases screwed up over the weekend!

Malcolm if your reading thism here a great example of how networks should be checking their data

    1. Make sure the url in the feed (e.g. the image) contains the right company!

I find myself having to write check scripts for so many things (like empty feeds, missing data, changes to product codes) - never thought of that one though

    Hi all,

We're regenerating all XML and CSV files now which should fix this problem. I'll update as soon as it has finished.

When I try and download CSV data feeds from AW I get an empty zip file.

If I download XML files I find that apostrophe characters ' have become question mark characters ?

Anyone else have these problems ?

it just hangs with Mozilla, but not a major problem as it all seems fine now with IE.
