How can we find out how many visitors we have sent to a merchant e.g. Jewellery.tv ? Even though we haven't earned any commission for various affiliate programs, we'd like to see exactly how many visitors we've sent them.

When we check the Merchant Performance etc. in our control panel, it doesn't show any visitors and only lists the sales/commission. It may show 1 or 2 visitors to an affiliate program in the 'Clicks' column when, if reality, I know there have been thousands.

    Thank you.

yep - been wondering the same thing - it's usually the only way we can tell if something's gone wrong - it's the first thing I (try) to check - how many click thrus has there been - never been able to find this info on AWin

When AW brought in the reporting system they currently use now it was mentioned on the forum that it did not report number of clicks/impressions. They did say on here they were aware of this and gave the impression that they would be working on it to supply us with this info in the near future, but I think this was around july 2004 that they brought in the present reporting system and as far as I am aware you still cant get any clicks/impressions info.
The info they do provide is all very nice i.e. how an individual merchant perform across the AW network, but that doesn’t mean that merchant will perform well on any of my individual sites. As it stands unless you have your own click tracking on each of your sites you have no idea if you are sending hundreds of visitors to a merchant who doesn’t convert for you. And also as Elaine says it’s a good indicator of something going wrong.
To be honest the lack of click/impressions reporting puts me off using new AW merchants which are unknown to me as I cant track there performance.

This is currently being integrated into our system, so click reporting should be live within the next few weeks. We'll announce it here when it's available.

If I am reading the above correctly, then the merchant can see this information (our half of the system is immune to upgrades - meaning this was never removed).

The merchant reporting system is really very weak - but the relevant merchants should be able to help you with this if you can't wait for the coming changes.

We hve recently been using this info to identify & contact a few affiliates who send large amount of non-converting traffic (pushing our EPC figures down) and helping them get back on track. Shame it takes to long to pull the data out.
