I always like to deeplink and always assumed if I could get the link to work
everything is fine, but after just reading the program details for DFDS I notice
it says "Deeplinking will be permitted for offers"
Does this mean that all the deeplinks I have set up will work and track but I
    won't get commission on them?
I've had close to 1,000 clicks now since my last sale and this coincides with when I started deeplinking.

I do the same for other programs, can I automatically deeplink anywhere or
only to the programs that say deeplinking is available?

    Hi T.J.

Because of the way the programme is set up deeplinking is not available on this programme. The note in the programme description about "Deeplinking will be permitted for offers" refers to the deeplinking offer banners that are available in the creative section.

I'll give you a call to have a look at how your links are setup. Also, I'll speak to DFDS to see if there's anyway we can try and find any sales you sent as I'm sure there will be some off the back of 1,000 clicks.

    Cheers,

    Warrick

    Thanks for the reply.

Are we only supposed to be promoting the special offers and not getting
    commission for anything else?

At the moment I have virtually every link set up deeplinking to the rellevant
page, and also have deeplinks straight to their route map, timetables and
    booking pages

For instance if anyone is searching for ferry to Amsterdam
my page has a link straight to the Newcastle to Amsterdam timetable and a
link straight to the online booking form.
Should I be sending people to the cruise break pages instead? and if so can I
use text links instead of the banners?

    Hi T.J.

Commission is paid on all sales, not just the special offers so no worries there.

Because of the way the programme is set up you cant just construct your own deeplinks. You can use the links provided to link to specific offers or use the standard links to go straight to the homepage.

If you send me a list of the pages that you want to link to I can speak to DFDS and get the links setup for you to use. Hopefully that way you'll still be able to deeplink to the offers that you want to.

Just drop me an email warrick@perfiliate.com then I'll get on it.

    Cheers,

    Warrick
