Nice, just signed up for new and myprog feeds and getting errors, are they both empty ATM? Could you shove at least one item in each then they should kick into action
Hi Guys and Gals,
We're pleased to announce another buy.at innovation - programme alerts via RSS!
All buy.at affiliate programme alerts will now be sent in RSS format, fed directly to your desktop as soon as they are published. buy.at is providing three main RSS channels and 2 additional channels. It also permits you to identify the news content you want to receive on buy.at programmes and by collating this is one place makes it easy to refer to at a later time. The way the RSS distribution is constructed means more than one person can subscribe for the same feeds without interfering with the correct distribution of the information to all subscribers.
The 3 main channels are:
New Programme Announcements
All Information About My Programmes
All Information About Other Programmes
In addition to the above 3 news channels there are 2 which contain just the essential information (eg. changes to terms and conditions etc.)
Just Essential Information About My Programmes
Just Essential Information About Other Programmes
To add the buy.at RSS channels and subscribe to the new buy.at news alerts is easy to do. Simply visit the RSS section in your Affiliate Management Area, at the bottom left of the page, and either cut and paste or drag the RSS feed URL’s into your newsreader. If you don’t already have a RSS Newsreader further advice on acquiring one can also be found on this page. We recommend using one that is HTTPS compliant so that any information passed is secure.
buy.at news will of course still be sent out via email as well. We hope you will enjoy receiving the new RSS news alerts. Our use of channels with content personalized according to login details is more complicated than most current uses of RSS. Therefore we’d welcome your comments on how we can improve the delivery of the information or the service generally.
If anyone has any comments or questions then please let me know.
Cheers,
Warrick

Hi Joe
Yeah its going to be great - as far as I know we are the only network in the world so far to try and use RSS to disseminate network information to help cut through the noise so we are very excited about the prospect of usage and development in this area.
Always helps if it works thoughwe have been beta testing it with a handful of affiliates for a couple of weeks and everything was working great so sods law in a go live it has a teether problem but duly noted and we are acting on it now
Thanks

We are not aware of any issues. The New Progs channel will have some items in it - the My Progs one depends on which programmes you are signed up to.
Please can you send a message to support@perfiliate.com with your affiliate details and we'll have a look.

Hi Nick
Yeah mate we will be getting round to a full update in time but don't want to go too fast as things are changing so much that we want to be ahead of the curve with changes and not just change for changes sake. We have wanted a new managment area for a while and have some cool things to put in there but I think no one wants to see us take a regressive step with the speed and intuitivness of the area but most want a few whistles and bells added as do I.
We have some other new technology being launched in the next few weeks which will help with promotion so its a really exciting time here as we attempt to remain at the front of the pack in terms of technical developments - tracking was first and now RSS and next :-) wait and see :-)
Have a good weekend mate - oh and by the way Egg are back Late Dec/Early Jan
Thanks
Mal
