    Hi all,

We're delighted to announce the launch of Reporo on the buy.at network. Reporo is a shop-on-your-mobile, allowing customers to purchase items direct from their mobile from brand-name merchants such as CD-WOW, Currys, Boots and Dominos pizza!

All customers need to do is supply details of their GPRS and Java-enabled phones (with over 180 of the latest phones already available), their network, their phone number and a credit/debit card to charge purchases too and they're away! Every signup eventuality seems to be covered, all personalised to the handset/network. Give it a try yourselves - it really is a doddle.

We've used it here and while the software is both slick and unobtrusive, even better are the cracking first-purchase deals - we bought the Brit Award-winning Jack Johnson's 'In between dreams' album from CD-Wow priced £8.75 for just 50p, including delivery!

This is a no-purchase-necessary programme where customers only need to sign up to Reporo for you to earn a commission. The consumer proposition is compelling and the barriers to signup are low but to make things even better, if you refer someone who goes on to 'refer-a-friend', you earn the same commission on each additional signup!

It's an unusual and novel programme and we're very excited to have it on the network. Go Reporo!

Reporo, the UK's market leading mobile shopping service which allows consumers to shop from online retailers via their mobile phone, anytime, anywhere, getting access to incredible 'mobile-only' merchant offers. Reporo can be used on over 180 GPRS phones across 12 manufacturers, and is the first and only mobile shopping service which can be used over multiple mobile networks, including O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Virgin.

Reporo now has over 15,000 registered users who have direct access top high street brands on their mobile including, CDWOW!, Firebox, Currys, PC World, Boots, PartyMob, Oddbins, Dominos Pizza and many more.

First time users get access to some incredible sign-up offers - Top chart CD's and DVD's from 50p (including delivery!) and iPods at the lowest price in the UK. www.reporo.com/offers.jsp

Affiliates will earn up to £2.50 for every registration on the website. A significant bonus is available to top tier affiliates who can deliver significant volumes of registration (8,000+ plus per month) - please contact Martin at Summit Media. If you can deliver serious volume we want to hear from you - significant reward waiting!

Does the customer have to pay a monthly fee for using this service?

    Hi Anyanka

Ben is off today so he will be able to confirm on Monday but from my understanding of this service its not charging a fee to the consumer .

By the way if anyone thinks they can drive some serious numbers i.e in the thousands for this program there are some hefty bonus's available which can be discussed if you drop us a line.

    I mean hefty :-)

    Thanks

    Mal

    Hi Anyanka,

There are no charges for signing up to Reporo. The customer just has to pay for whatever they order through the service.

    Cheers,

    Warrick

    Hi Steve,

Sorry for that, the commission bounty you have been accredited for the signup is wrong. All the sales will be uplifted to £1 shortly.

    Cheers

    Hi guys,

I'd like to just clarify that the 'refer-a-friend' offer will earn affiliates commission up until the 56 day cookie that was set on the original clickthrough expires, giving you 8 weeks while you can earn additional money from that sign-up.

Signups to the programme are actively encouraged to sign up friends, with a bonus to the customer of £5 for every referred friend who purchases any product via Reporo, helping to increase the viral nature of the programme.

With the special first-time purchase deals such as an iPod for £110, an £8.75 CD from CD-WOW for 50p all-in and £5 off the purchase price at Firebox.com, there is great consumer proposition here for you to promote. Please note there is no signup fee or monthly cost to Reporo, you earn commission for simply getting the Reporo software onto the customer's phone and then it is up to that customer to get their friends/family to signup.

As ever, any queries then feel free to call (0191 241 6500) or email me. I'll be at the A4U G2G tonight (26/4/6) too and you can always sign up to enjoy our hospitality at the Speakeasy in London on the 11th May as well.

    Cheers

    Ben

I used the service a while back. It's good.

A bit too good in fact. Combine it with Shazam on your mobile and a few too many drinks somewhere with a decent DJ and you can end up with the contents of a small record store on your doorstep when you sober up.

I thought this a good time to take the opportunity to introduce myself. As the Reporo Partners affiliate camapign manager, responsible for recruiting suitable affiliates and assisting them to maxininse the great earnings potential of this new campaign, I am available at the Summit office to answer any questions affiliates may have and (hopefully) resolve any problems.

Although this programme has for now a relatively short shelflife I firmly believe that with the bonus of the refer a friend refferal commission payments it will prove to have high earning potential for those affiliates who come onboard and encourage their users to participate with the incentive of earning themselves as “Reporo Ambassadors”.

I am pleased to extend the original 30 day cookie period to fairly cover the time periods it would take for users to refer friends, and for the friends to act upon it. As such I have now extended the cookie life to 2 months, which will now cover the duration of the campaign - and a post campaign period to allow referrals to be accrued.

If anyone has any questions or I can assist in any other way please contact me at the office

On of the attractions of the Reporo system is that it is NOT part of the wireless access protocol (WAP) network, but uses its own unique java bases application.

As a result Reporo can be used on over 145 GPRS phones across 12 manufacturers, and is the first and only mobile shopping service, which can be used over multiple mobile networks, including O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, and Virgin.

Reporo's unique, Java-based software is free and can be downloaded from Reporo's website to a mobile phone in minutes. Once loaded, the phone instantly allows users to visit online retailer websites to browse for items, view images, and make a purchase. Orders are fully secure and processed via the retailer's website, just as if shopping online.

Should you require further technical specs please give me a call.

I can only see it being bad for affiliates, nice idea though. I want people shopping online not from their mobile, I suppose if it was lifetime sales from that referal that might be worth linking to perhaps otherwise I'd be shooting myself in the foot.

    Sorry not being helpful.

I think Reporo has huge potential but without a residual income element there's no way we'll be actively promoting the program.
