    Hi,

I raised this issue as an AW support ticket last night, but as it is a bank holiday weekend, I thought I would also post this here, just in case someone else had found a solution or workaround.

Datafeed downloads have stopped working since the switch to having seperate passwords for the account and datafeed downloads.

I use the following method to download the datafeeds (CSV versions):

    http://products.affiliatewindow.com/...&password=PASS

where MID is the merchant ID
AFFID is my own affiliate ID
    PASS is the password

If I use my datafeed password, I get an authentication error - If I use my account password, I get a zero length file.

Has anyone managed to work this out?

    Many thanks,
    DarrenW.

    Hi Ya

I have no problems in downloading any of the datafeeds.
If you need a few to tide you over I can send them to you?

Hi - thanks for the offer, but I need to do a general refresh of several hundred datafeeds - I last did this about three weeks ago, and some of them are looking stale.

If anyone from AffilateWindow sees this, please could they have a look at ticket 14535.

    Many thanks,
    Darren.

Woah, just checked my sites that use AWin feeds and none of them have updated. They should update daily on a CRON job. They work if I run my update scripts manually though... Hmmm....

I've just discovered that if I set my account passwords and datafeed passwords to the same thing, then the downloads start working again.

    Hi guys

Hope all your issues have now been resolved. Support assure me that this is the case but if not, don't hesitate to contact me.

Please use your login password to download datafeeds. The new password is for Shop Window II which is due for release in the coming weeks.

    Kind regards
