    Hi

Any chance that the phone number at the top of the page can be removed when clicked via an affiliate link?
    Thanks Lee

Would never buy a bike online myself anyway. A programme like this ought to offer a bounty on getting people into the shop - or at least filling out an enquiry form.

I'd be interested in doing some cycling content, but just don't see how it would pay.

I'd have thought a CPC model would work much better than CPA for this sort of business.

Thanks for the feedback. It's still early days for us so we'll take all feedback on board. We're looking into what we can do about the phone number on the header.

You would certainly think that buying something like a bike online just wouldn't work. However we sell 10's of thousands of bike online every year. And we're making it easier for novice cyclists to purchase online:

Our ineractive sales assistant wizard has recently gone live which helps customers figure out which bike to choose based on their type of riding and budget. And it also helps customers choose the correct sized bike.

We also have a live online chat service that aims to assist the customer whilst keeping them in the online channel and purchasing on the website (a link is on every product page).

Also, all of the bikes we sell online are built by mechanics, brakes & gears adjusted and tested before being boxed and shipped. The bikes are packaged with their wheels on in large oversized boxes. All the customer has to do when they receive their bike is to turn the bars around and put the pedals on (which we provide tools and detailed instructions for). This is really important as many online bike retailers simply ship the bikes flat-packed as they get them from the factory - a complete nightmare for even a competent cyclist and home mechanic, let alone a novice cyclists!

    Kind regards,

    Ben Hart

what you would well me too if the difference was a couple of quid but if its a big saving then why not? would you book a flight with your site? or do you goto the high street to buy a flight

Wiiggle's scheme is not through a network, it's promoted as a 'club' cashback scheme but they'll let anyone on.

As for buying bikes online, you probbaly wouldn't if you don't ride much, but people who spend a LOT on bikes and know what they're after would, and also spend a lot on upgrade parts. At £2k or more for a set of carbon wheels, you'd want to shop around!

Trade Doubler click on 'Your Programs', Select an Accepted Site, Click 'Run Report', choose 'Halfords', Click on 'Links', choose a product feed 'Automotive'????, click on 'Bikes', click on 'Show Code' pop up window, choose Excel click on Preview, only get 100 products???

I must be going wrong somwhere, it cant be that complicated. Can someone please guide me on how to simply get csv or Excel feed from Trade Doubler.

I saw a bike on ebay which I almost purchased which was only around £50 once before. It was a fold up one which you can take on the train and had petrol assisted engine to help you up hills!

(Just found it again on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Electric-Power...QQcmdZViewItem)

    Hi Ben-

may i make an non-affiliate related suggestion for your online store?

Was having a browse round looking for new cycling helmets- in the product details the sizes are only listed as small, medium and large. Having the actual range of cms the helmet fits would be really brill, as I know the head measurements- but not if i need a small medium or large one!

Sorry if a bit garbled - have had too much charred pork this weekend!

    Cheers

    Jude

    Hi Jude,

Thanks for the feedback on the helmet sizing - all of this sort of info certainly helps to make the site more user friendly. We'll add it to the 'to do' list!

    Regards, Ben.
