I just selected all your hotel feeds and I get one category named accommodation with 65000 products. That's handy.

The trouble AWIN has is most affiliates don't care about your technology, what matters is being able to install datafeeds and make money, we don't care about downtime or technical hitches, that's the basic fact.

We want to earn money, so next time try rolling things out once tested and run things side by side instead of allowing a two month lag to get in the way of affiliates trying to earn money and merchants who presumably wish to do the same. Although merchants need an education.

Christ knows what happened to the art feed i was using, I couldn't update because of lack of categories - although I now have which has mucked everything up, i've put in a support ticket if after two months you can get those four merchants working properly then I and we might be able to make some money but until then well we won't and meanwhile the images stopped working before that... WHY? No wonder I aint done no more sales for that merchant.

I call it common sense, I'm not sure why you felt the need to do things this way, yes you've explained but would it not have been far simpler to duplicate and run side by side then over time disable the old?

As I'm sure you can appreciate, it's 18:30 on a Sunday, and what's more, it's a bank holiday weekend. I said in my last post that I believe the development team are working on an interim solution that will resolve all your issues, allowing you to use the merchant's own categories for the few sectors where this problem seems to arise.

If you drop me an email with your phone number and affiliate ID, I will be sure to call you first thing Tuesday morning to get these issues resolved. I did ask you to call me in a previous post within this thread, perhaps we could have fixed this for you a long time ago.

Yes you can say all that and make it look like I'm not listening or helping myself and as for interim, it has been almost two months.

I'll email as I probably did before, and I don't care whether it's a weekend or a bank holiday, you could have waited until Tuesday to reply, you well know affiliates work all hours and days and after settling in here I fancied earning some money in a few months time. I don't do phone, email is just fine.

Thanks for the reply and hopefully your systems do get up and running wholesale soon, I've used other merchants and they're working ok, it's probably just art and hotels giving me gip. I've more to do tonight if my stomach doesn't get the better of me.

It is funny though, tomatoes must've filled me up, slapiton.tv selling garden tools, is every site on the web that uses these feeds selling perfume and garden tools and decorations? haha

It would also be good if we could save data feed downloads as packages for next time we update a site, name them, so we don't have to click all the feeds we need again, also so the list can be added to or removed.

I just downloaded about 15 feeds and somehow I lost subside sports, christ knows where they went in the categories, and kitbag... who knows. And images aren't working on boardshop and I've contacted board warehouse about their categories not working as well - let's hope your contact system works as it's buggy at best, you should ensure merchants details are correct or merchants should and could you advise merchants to update their keywords for search within awin as most of the time it's wholly inadequate.

Most people seem to cope with AWIN, maybe I just like to moan but there's so many things that could be added or just not left out, that would make things easier. Like notifications when I'm rejected from a programme, instead of looking and just finding out, or notification when there's an actual commission raise, because I swear it never happened and wasn't visible to me.

I'm not sure where some feeds disappear too, is it the software I'm using or do some just not work together and get cancelled out as I know I downloaded it. The next time I do this, I will write down every single error because it seems I'm going to have to as there's so much wrong but at the same time so much right and it goes smoothly at other times. data feeds are a bloody nightmare, it's bene like it years though, I should switch to webgains. It would be better when i upgrade and can import other networks, I won't need to moan and then can just skip merchants and networks.

Lee. My datafeed manager system does all what you ask in that statement. Once you've inputted the path, you get the feeds at a click direct to the website where they are to be displayed. You then can add or remove no probs. Also name them.

Alright, I know you're emailing me every couple of weeks but it's now been four months, I am sure I can make money with your merchants (one inparticular) but you're not letting me and I may have to let the domain go to an end user this week as I need money.

It has now been four months, please could you give a reasonable timetable, September, Christmas, March 2008 as to when you will get these feeds working properly with categories, I'm losing money, you're losing money, worse still the merchants are losing money. *well not worse still, I only care about my money to be honest.

Great network just one huge massive big problem that is taking too long to sort out, how hard can it be to sort out? I'm losing money, I'm sure of it.
