Simon, we've been deeplinking with DSG stores all month and it seems to be working fine.

Thanks ep90 - I remember when they moved to AW that we were told not to deeplink at that time but cannot find anything saying we can now.

Anyone from AW care to confirm?

    Thanks

    Hi there

Because of the way the DSGi sites are constructed the site does cause problems with custom made deeplinks. They will not always redirect to the page of your choice.

Please ensure that you are only using links supplied from the AW system (banners, default link and product feed).

We are working on a solution for this.

    Thanks Chris,

Can you let us know as soon as this is possible so we can update the site.

Sending visitors to the homepage isn't a great proposition.

Simon - We have found the linking is 100% reliable if you link to static pages. Static pages always have /seo/ in the url, the ones you need to avoid have session id's. The ones with session id's are what you'll get if you find the product using Dixons search engine, you need to use the sitemap to get a static link.

For example, linking to the Fuji S5:

This URL will deeplink fine (note the /seo/)

This URL also links to the Fuji S5, but does not work with deep linking (note the session id):

    "http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/store/dix_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0307160814.118036593 5@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccaddkmlefghgcflgceggdhhmdgmh. 0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=504895& category_oid=-32297"

    Hope this helps

    Hi there

The SEO links are only to product pages. If you would like to link to product pages please use the product feed.

Using SEO products links is not ideal for DSGi as they do not get reporting as to how the customer was generated to them. This can lead to delays in processing commission.

Please use the default link, banners and product feed to link to the DSGi sites.

    Thanks
