All signed up. Have spent many a good night in the Apartment so very much looking forward to it.

P.S. If anybody wants to stay over I have rooms available - will trade for 1-way links, find them if you can Google!! Mwahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.P.S. Just read that bit and I sound like a geek. So will trade board and lodgings for loose women, fast cars and Peroni! There, much more manly.

Weighing this one up, how far is the venue from the train station, I might make the trip from Bristol, The train takes 5 hours though ouch! and could not find any decent flights.
Can anyone suggest best way to go cheapest, and most time effective.

We've been looking for flights too, but it's possibly cheaper to pop over to New York than Newcastle via plane.

If you're going by train though, get 2 singles as it works out cheaper than a return.. think the cheapest single Swansea to Newcastle was £18 - going up to £40/£50 - but 6 odd hours on a train doesn't fill me with enthusiasm, so it looks like it's xmas party time home alone again with a half bottle of red wine and a bag of cheesy wotsits!

but if you get one of the new super-duper Virgin trains they are extemely clean and comfortable (although back in March they didn't have wireless BB - but the enforced relaxation was welcome!) and to add a bit of spice to the journey it is incredibly easy to not lock the toilet door - which nearly happened to me, but thankfully I escaped with my dignity intact.
