Sorry for the short notice, with an exciting launch like the Apple i-Phone it seems to be the practice to keep the excitement under wraps. We can now inform you of the fantasic opportunity to promote the i-Phone through Carphone Warehouse and potentially earn extra on all sales and win your own i-Phone.

The Apple iPhone will be available in the UK from 6.02pm tomorrow from The Carphone Warehouse website. We are delighted to announce that affiliates will be able to benefit from Apple iPhone sales and we are pleased to be able to confirm the following commission structure:

Commissions

• £20 for each iPhone that you sell
  
• Pay an increased rate of 10% commission on all Apple branded accessories when sold with an Apple iPhone in the same transaction. That's double the commission on normal accessories!

If you sell more than 150 Apple iPhones during November, then:

1. The commission on the Apple iPhone will increase by £15 to £35
   
2. Carphone will more than double the bounty on all Pay As you Go sales you make in November, increasing the commission from £5 to £12.
   
3. Carphone will give you a FREE Apple iPhone! The iPhone will be locked to O2, but will not come with a contract.

Important Design Elements

In order to make the launch of Apple iPhone as effective as possible we will provide you with resources from Carphone pages, that you can use to help build your site. Please use existing and post launch site content from Carphone as reference to give you an idea of how this should all fit together. This content is also available in the "description" field under the programme settings in your management area. We also have a word version of this, if you would like a copy please contact sarah.johnson@buy.at.

Once you have finished, please send in your designs to Nadene El Fiky - elfikyn@cpwplc.com for approval. If there are changes required, we will come back to you as soon as possible with specific instructions.Unfortunately, CPW can not pay commission on Apple iPhone sales generated by Affiliates who have not had their content signed off by CPW.

I am assuming that the content sign off is only if we create a landing page.

If we use banners, text links etc. do you need to know every single page they will appear on?

Please confim. I haven't decided to push traffic to CPW, O2 or Apple as of yet...

Having read that twice, I have no idea what I need to do to promote iPhone via CPW so, for that reason I'm out!

Unfortunately, you will need to submit a URL for approval, even if you are only using a banner. I'm afraid this is the terms and conditions set out by Apple, not Carphone Warehouse.
