Due to other commitments I was unable to log on until late, so was well down the pecking order, still I picked up a personalised calendar which is better than nothing

Shame on anyone who has complained - Affiliate Window didn't have to offer any prizes at all. If anyone is unhappy with what they are going to receive, donate it to your favourite Charity or offer it to your local hospital as a raffle prize but above all be grateful.

Well done Affiliate Window, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year, may you continue to grow and be in a position to do something similar again in 2008.

I logged on at 2.55pm, started refreshing, but then as soon as the queen's speech started Firefox failed to show the christmas tree page anymore (despite doing so before) so I switched to Safari and thankfully it worked.

I managed an 8 coin prize too

White Sony Ericsson W850i - Well chuffed - Looked it up on the web and it appears to be worth around £200, I honestly wasn't expecting even 8 coin prizes to be worth anywhere near that amount, was thinking maybe £30 worth at most, top promotion.

For obvious reasons I couldn’t enter, but it really caught my eye from the moment awin launched this. It must have taken a lot of time to coordinate so three cheers to them.

    Hi,

Firstly, congratulations to all the winners, hopefully we gave some of you a legitimate reason for logging on on Christmas Day!

Secondly thanks for all the feedbck, it gives us a good steer on which promtions work.

Lastly a big thanks to all the advertisers who participated and the Affiliate Window account managers who were able to use their powers of persuasion in securing so many excellent prizes.

To those who've pm-ed me, I'll be in contact shortly.

Enjoy the rest of the Christmas break and here's to a successful 2008 for all of us.

I won some mood lighting (whatever that is!!) - but great to win a free prize nonetheless.

That coupled with yesterday being my 3rd best day for sales in December made it a very merry Christmas

Sorry if this offended you or anyone else, it might have come across as ungrateful but wasn't meant to; the smiley's were there for a reason. I'm not keen on campagne, but had already made arrangements to give it away as part of a prize, i'd never bin a perfectly good bottle, even if its not to my taste!

AW conducted the competition outstandingly well, and am surprised it went so smoothly considering a few hundred eager affiliates refreshing the christmas tree every couple of seconds, as i did

Hope for a repeat next year, but with me bagging a '8 coin' prize Well done to all those involved and the winners.

    Hi all,

Just to echo Kevin Edwards previous comments thanking you for your participation.

I'm sure future competitions will benefit from the constructive feedback and all your positive comments will be relayed to the merchants involved, hopefully allowing us to secure a greater number of 'presents' in the future.

On behalf of AW I would also like to say a special thank you to David Hall (for the idea and the perserverance), the development team (for making the impossible bits, possible), the account management teams (for prizes and testing, I know some of you won stuff but it was just a dry run!) and finally Kevin Brown (for the 'extras' of AW making up the balance of gifts and sites).

As always there are a number of people behind the scenes who take on the responsibility to make these things work, I just wanted to share with you a few of the key ones.

    Kind Regards

    Mark

Sadly I have to completely disagree with you. Surely if it was as 'fair' as possible the biggest sellers would get the best prizes? However, I think it was a great little idea. Maybe for next year it would be better if they 'hid' the tokens in their emails or something because it would have been too easy to enter all the codes (says me who only entered 6!).

Good idea AW. I expect it to be copied next year by the other networks.

As one of the big winners I would like to thank AW and Novatech. After making usre I read the instructions, I sat that like a lemon for 10 minutes clicking refresh, wondering whther it was working, but it all turned out good in the end. A nice bit of excitement on Christmas afternoon.

Any prize would have been nice, and I would have been pleased with anything, as let's face it, it was all free! So thanks to all the people behind the scenes.

My plan this year is to pay Novatech back by generating sales for them! I need to join their programme, but once the new year is in full swing I will hopefully have repaid them! :-)
