The rules were published right at the start - if you didn't like the idea of logging in on Christmas Day, fair enough, that's your choice, don't enter the competition - but to me it added more of a fun element - by the time I logged in at about 3.25 (had to wait for the family to finish dinner), there were only 6 coin prizes left even though I had 8 coins - but I'm still happy with what I won.

Guess it goes to prove the old adage - you can't please all of the people all of the time...

Just to let you know, all the relevant information has been passed onto the participating merchants, who will be sending out gifts shortly. The bottles of Champagne, Boden hat and scarf sets and Nintendo Wii will be dispatched directly from the Affiliate Window offices over the course of today and tomorrow.

I was in the same position, but still made the effort of connecting in order to pick up a present. Got one, but due to poor poor poor internet connection, despite connecting and refreshing from 2:53pm (UK time) I didnt get to pick until 3:20pm

Not received anything yet, but after hearing people talk about the PicooZ helicopters, I looking forward to givin it a razz round the office

Thanks for the info about despatch! I was beginning to wonder if it was coming, or if I'd missed it, I guess I didn't see the bit about despatch date on the site.

It's a pity the xmas promotion page has been taken down as I didn't send a thankyou message to the merchant (clearwater hampers), thought I would do that when I received the gift. I will send one to the general contact email address and hope it gets through to the appropriate person responsible for doing the work.

Yes, I think it was a great promotion for merchants and affiliates. I`ll be promoting the merchant I got my gift from this year, even though its an area I wouldn't go into, but its made me aware of them, and I also feel its a way to thank them.

I`m sure quite a few other people will do the same, so its definately been worthwhile for the merchants.
