Amazon join Affiliate Window?

I was just looking for merchants for a Doctor Who Tardis toy today and would you believe it but Amazon showed up!

They don't show up for a merchant search though. What gives? Have the biggest players in the game joined Affiliate Window.

I've pulled in the product feed with Amazon's product here.

Anyone know anything about this?

i believe its just a "filler" although from the other end they might join AW as they have done with zanox for amazon UK, DE and FR.

if the later is the case this will be a very nice "add on"

Oh that's bad. So it looks like the Sun are getting Amazon products fed through to their own Affiliate Window feed, probably to make it easier for them, but the filter hasn't worked and other affiliates are receiving them with the Sun's affiliate ID embedded in?

Hi all

Amazon do work with us in a limited way. Their products are featured on the News International websites which use our ShopWindow toolset.

It seems that JakeCop has found a bug in our system and managed to get an Amazon product to appear in a widget. We are correcting this immediately.

Thanks Chris, I can actually see loads of Amazon products when I set up widgets. Do you need any programming help with this one?

I've just gone to set one up and seen loads of amazon stuff in it
with links going to that.

in fact only 2/20 items which appear for the search term are NOT from amazon

I still see products in the list from amazon (they show zero price, but so does another item from another merchant)

The fix for this should go live very shortly. It is waiting on another release to go live before this fix can be put in place.

I will update this thread when it is resolved.
