Anybody else having trouble getting signed up for the National Trust programme. It's been pending since December. I've contact a couple of times who say they'll chase it up. I realise it's down to National Trust to review the site, but the lack of feedback/progress status is a bit bad in my mind. This programme is one of the main reasons I joined Buy.at.

Hi Stuart,

Sorry about the delay with approval for the National Trust programme, as you know approvals are complete in house and there have very strict terms and conditions concerning the type of content they allow the National Trust to be associated with on affilaite sites. The recent tracking problems have resulted in no approvals being completed.

I will speak with the National Trust and obtain a time period when the next batch of approvals will be completed, and a better communication process to pending affilaites moving forward.

I noticed this programme the other week....how strict are they when looking at affiliate sites. Would it need to be a related subject rather than an out an out affiliate one based around the keywords etc???

The National Trust are looking for relevant content sites for the programme. They have specific terms and conditions in their programme description for you to have a look through.

If you want to drop me an email with your ideas around promotion for the programme and I'll be able to let you know if this would be OK for the programme and I'll see that I can get your approved.
