Hi All,
Firstly we’d just like to say thank you for a hugely successful first month on Affiliate Window- we’ll be announcing the winners of the launch promotion on May the 14th as we need to give the remaining sales in the last part of April 2 weeks before we can validate them all. This way every affiliate whom have generated sales in April will be given a fair chance if they have managed to attain the 3 validated sales per entry![]()
For May we’re looking for more NEW affiliates to start promoting the M and M Direct campaign. We will be awarding double commission of 6% for any sales generated by new affiliates in May
Existing affiliates whom haven't generated a sale for the M and M Direct programme since launch can also take part in this Incentive. Any sales generated in May by Affiliates whom haven't produced a sale will also qualify for the Double commission.
This bonus will be applied at the end of the month of May on all sales that are generated by new affiliates.
With a fantastic site conversion of 11.5% and an average basket value of £46, this is a great time to start promoting M and M Direct.
If your not aware of M and M Direct:
"M and M Direct are one of the UK’s top fashion and sports websites. (Source: Hitwise)
We sell the world's top brands - Nike, adidas, Bench, Timberland, Berghaus, Miss Sixty, Henleys and loads more, all with savings of up to 75% off."

Hi Morleymouse,
Quidco are currently not on 6% for M and M Direct and have never been on 6%.
I know some exisiting promoting affiliates may feel that the new 6% affiliate incentive for new affiliates and affiliates whom haven't performed yet, maybe a little discouraging.
With this promotion we are simply looking to build on the success and gain NEW affiliates and help push the existing affiliates whom have not yet begun promoting M and M Direct![]()
But that doesn't mean we are getting complacent with the performing affiliates, we are actually looking to run another promotion for all affiliates in the summer a peak season.
And we have already for April ran a prize draw promotion in April for all affiliates with top 3 prizes, top prize being the 80GB IPOD.
Winners will be announced on the 14th of May... so don't be discouraged, were just trying to give the smaller affiliates a chance for the Month of May and in the summer we will run another affiliate incentivised competition for all.
If you have any queries feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Andrew

I think this is highly unfairFor May we’re looking for more NEW affiliates to start promoting the M and M Direct campaign. We will be awarding double commission of 6% for any sales generated by new affiliates in May![]()
If new affiliates can have 6%, why not affiliates who are doing well for the program?
3% in this sector is pretty poor, and not being allowed to get the additional increase is very unfair![]()
I know you need to get new affiliates onboard but I would have thought it was imperative to keep converting ones happy.:td

Hi,
I know it often gets lost with commissions on how much an increase is actually worth, but in real terms lets say im doing my job and im making £20k a year doing it. What your doing is offering anyone that comes and does the same £40k?
Anyone thats not instantly taken it up will get a 100% pay rise on what im currently on?
Morley... starting to wish hed started promoting M&M direct a month or so after it launched rather than when it did... those thinking 6% is good, hold out, they'll give you 12% if your new next month...

Its a joke
What a kick in the teeth for you guys :td
I've had this happen before in other programs - It doesn't feel good.
If they had any sense they would reward you a bonus for the efforts you have already made BEFORE offering double commission to new affiliates after only the second month.
If they don't double you up for last month then just ditch them and move on.
Affiliate managers really need to think things through when running promotions like this.
How can you just offer double commission anyway? Its bad business.
IMO It really puts you in a bad light.
Look after the affiliates you have instead of focusing on touting for more.
I'm not a M and M direct affiliate, and I'm happy of this but I feel bad for those already promoting them.
If I found a merchant I promote offers 2x of what I'm getting to new affiliates I'll do my best to find a different one to promote.
I'm one of those that still builds real content sites (no "invisible" coupons, no PPC, no cheating the system) and things like this make you feel pretty bad.
If you're smart enough go and do something NOW for existing affiliates, or you have many chances of ending up with either affiliates leaving your program or affiliates opening new accounts to cheat the system.
Usually those who get more commision and those doing more sales, or those who have been promoting a programme for quite a long time, not the new ones. Think about it.
