Anyone ?
Yesterday CD-WOW had a sale. We promoted it, as did every other "bargain" website. In doing so, we generated well over 700 clicks to CD-WOW, with another few hundred clicks today.
However, NOT ONE of these (over 1000) clicks has converted. This is despite my knowing FOR SURE that a number of these have resulted in sales.
Has anybody else noticed this? I am aware that CD-WOW are closing on buy.at, but not until 29th October.
Anyone ?
Must be just me then.
Thanks for your input, guys![]()
I have had that experience with CD-WOW couple of months ago, i contacted buy at to find out why but it was a no no. I dont know how you went about it but It was my first PPC promoting CD and DVD, actually testing the water but i was disappointed. Someone said its not advisable to sell this product via PPC except youre selling in bunch or in pack such as series of sex in the city. It could have been a money spinner if it converted because all of the products i was selling were no 1 in google [targetted keywords] at 0.01 and 0.02 with no competitor in most cases and with very high CTR.
Would love to hear from anyone who has ever been successful selling CD
I would be interested in a response from Buy.at regarding this issue.
I have tried unsuccesfully to get a response from their support team. My emails seem to be dropping in to a big black hole. To say I am disappointed with the level of support so far received is an understatement!
I think buy.at should realise that most of their merchants are also available on other networks![]()
Doesn't seem to be limited to buy.at. I've noticed a similar issue on tradedoubler. Have CDwow got problems?
I think there must be a merchant issue here. I placed a sample order using a buy.at affiliate link, and it tracked the click but not the sale. So if you say that the TD link does the same, then there is obviously a problem.
This is unacceptable - we have generated a lot of business for CD-WOW in recent days, and I am not going to sit back and let this lie.
Hi wilko1972,
I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing problems with the CD Wow programme recently with a low conversion rate.
I can assure you that the support team here at buy.at checks support emails twice a day. If any of these need in-depth investigation, they are passed on to the appropriate Account Manager and we always aim to resolve these queries as soon as possible.
As the Account Manager for CD Wow, I can assure you that your query has been passed onto CD Wow as I suspect there may be a tracking issue.
If you could let me know your buy.at affiliate ID I can look into your individual account and get back to you via email.
Kind Regards,
Laura
