Does anyone here think that play.com is worth promoting for gadgets?

the reason I ask is because they only pay 4% on gadgets, whereas iwoot are 13% and firebox 10-12% as well as many more merchants paying better commission than play.com

is the convertion rate really going to make it worth it?

Swings and roundabouts really. Do you promote a brand that offers gadgets at a slightly cheaper price and with free delivery or do you promote the dedicated gadget sites and receive a higher affiliate payout for each order?

I suppose it would come down to your site and whether you can focus on a handful of merchants (e.g. reviews) or if you need a lot of merchants (e.g. price comparison or discount vouchers).

I see what you're saying bout swings and roundabouts, I guess I've got to take into account the extra delivery charges with the gadgety sites

I will try play.com as well as the other sites and see how it goes, maybe for cheaper gadgets (£20-£30ish) it may be a better converter due to the free delivery?
