where do clicks come from

How, within my stats, can I see where each click and sale comes from ie which page does it originate from?

This is a constant source of frustration to me on the AWIN stats - am I just missing how to get it?

Hi Gunneradt

The reliable solution for tracking where your clicks and sales are coming from is to use clickref on all your affiliate links.

Simply add &clickref=XXX to your affiliate links and add a value that identifies to you where the traffic came from. We then report back to you how many clicks are happening from each clickref in the Clickref report in your admin area and report the clickref used that generated a sale in the commission details report.

The clickref parameter should always be before any deeplink and can be added to all AW affiliate link types.

Here is an example of an affiliate link with a clickref added:

http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=45627&mid=1257&clickref=homepage&p=http://www.dixons.co.uk

I assume he reffers to referrer information.

Referrer information isn't always available so clickref is a much more reliable way of getting the data.

I just want to see the referring url
