Thread: Has anyone else had problems with Buy At

    I have been with buy at for some time but today I have taken off all their programmes off my site due to never getting paid. When I joined buy at, people warned me against it, saying I would never get paid out by them and I should join other programmes, and how right they were.

    I have watched time and time again commission vanishing from my account and when I have spoken to them about it, I get a load of excuses, today nearly £40 vanished from my account with more excuses.

    Today I have spoken to a number of people who have all said the same old stories about this company and I would like to know if anyone on here has had problems with them.

    They were also sent a huge amount of people from our site and the commission did not tally with the amount, I am not saying that everyone would buy from the site, or everyone that we sent for bingo would put on the bingo any more after they received their free bonus but I would have expected a bigger amount of commission that what I was being told. After all this time and all these excuses I have been paid nothing. I recently joined another affliate company where in a short amount of time I have had more success and payments

    Please do share your stories as I would be very interested

    I have worked with buy.at on various programmes for over 3 years and have never had any delays in payment.

    I have always received prompt and professional assistance at all times and would not hesitate in recommending them. :tup

    I am the finance manager at buy.at and I would be happy to look into this matter and give you an explanation as to what has happened. Our payment periods and processes are all pretty straight forward and i would be happy to explain them to you, or anyone else that cares to get in touch.

    In summary, we typically pay affiliates for approved transactions on the 25th (or the previous working day if this is a weekend or bank holiday) of the second month after the transaction was made. We have a few programmes that are a month quicker and a few that could be longer. We do not withhold payments if we have not been paid by merchants and so there should be a very regular patter of payments for a programme.

    I am sure that this is a simple misunderstanding and I will be very happy to look into this for you and explain what has happened is you would be so kind as to send me your buy.at handle.

    I have looked into your account and there is a perfectly valid reason why the sales have "vanished from your account" and that is that the sales have been rejected. I have checked and the reason why the sales have been rejected is clearly stated in the programme terms and conditions. I wont go into detail on this forum, but if you want me to talk it over with you, I will be more than happy to do so.

    If you have a problem with this explanation or have evidence to prove that we are wrong, then I will be happy to take this up with the merchant and review the situation.

    Once the sales that have been approved reach our £20 threshold for domestic payments, then a payment will be sent out.

    It is very strange that you say that the sales have been rejected because the companies in question have received money. My brother in law went on my site and made a payment, only found out two weeks later when i went down. He made a payment it was taken and when i checked it was rejected. I am not the only person this has happened to, it seems that most of my sales are rejected, so all i can say is, it seems that buy at are very good at rejecting stuff, keeping the money and conning people

    I look forward with great interest to your article. If you could let me know when and where this will appear I will make every effort to read it and trust that you will be in touch shortly to take the buy.at view on the situation in order to provide a balanced argument?

    Just in case you are not able to get in touch, I should make one important distinction before you go to press. As with all of our programmes, the decision to reject these transactions was not taken by buy.at, but by the merchants. We do not hold sufficient information on the detail of the transaction be be able to make the distinction between a valid and invalid sale.

    I have already explained the reasons given for these rejections and my offer to review them with the merchant if you can provide any evidence to support the argument still stands. I am sure that you already have the basics of affiliate marketing grasped, but just to make it clear, if your transactions are rejected then we do not get paid by the merchant and so we have made no financial gain from these transactions at all.

    If a mistake has been made, it is in my interest to get it sorted out as much as yours, so please provide me with any evidence that you have that funds were deposited and I will take this argument up with the merchant for you.

    IT makes me laugh your comment, it was not with one merchant but with all merchants that was happening again and again, cowboy, horse and hat comes to mind

    Your company have received all the details of various programes where the money has vanished like a character from a pantomine, it is not just one programme it has been all of them. We have never had any problems with our other affliate companies who are all very trust worthy, the only problems we have ever had is with your company who seems to have Paul Daniels the magician over seeing payment - making them disapear
