Hi,
I'm still a bit new to this but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of Validations with 1st Vitality?
I have a pending with them outstanding since 27/5/03.
Now I know some of you will already be laughing at this because I have been reading this board for a while and I know that some of you will have outstandings going back months and months with various other merchants.
However, I mean to start as I intend to go on and I see a 6 week confirmation period as unnecessary and unacceptable.
I firmly believe that after 4 weeks at the very most a sale should be confirmed or rejected.
I am tempted to remove this merchant until the pendings have been finalised (and I have one or two others from this merchant since the one detailed above).
I have posted on here before I make such a drastic action as I would like to know if this is normal for them?
I appreciate that I also have the option of querying it directly with the merchant but I would like to avoid confrontation with the merchant at this stage.
I am just looking for some feedback from others who may have had more experience with them than I do.

You don't have to be confrontational to query a merchant.. not initially anyways. A quick email to them often results in a reply and everything's pretty much sorted.
You may also find it introduces you to the merchant and helps build a better relationship.

Ok, thanks guys, that is just the kind of feedback I was looking for.
Will send a polite email to the merchant.
Sent an email to 1st Vitality... apparently the guy who does the Affy Confirmations has been on holiday.
The sale in question has now been confirmed.
Thank you 1st Vitality, all's well that ends well! <img src=http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/contrib/ruinkai/biggthumpup.gif ALT=":thumb">
