Thread: Declined Sales

I think affiliatewindow perhaps need to think about implementing a system whereby affiliates are informed of why pending sales are not confirmed, otherwise affiliates will just get disheartened and may well start promoting other programs.

I've had a few sales go missing, and it would be nice to know the reasons. But it's only a small minority so I suspect it's due to something as innocent as customer returns.


At least with AW we can see which sales are pending. With UKA we don't know how many sales don't get validated, because we only get to know about the ones that are ok.

I generally agree with you. Sometimes knowing too muych information like pending sales can be bad thing in the sense of it being disheartening when sales do not go through. On the plus side they are flagging signals for potential problem merchants.

It'd be nice to have sales to be declined...

Absolutely nothing showing this month for CDWow or FoodnDrink - yet pevious months all's been well. Cickthru's are registering, but it does seem strange - CDWow have said there's a recording/reporting problem though.

Anyways AW have been contacted so we'll see what's happening.

Anyone else find the "your merchants" bit lethargic to load - btw?

I stopped promoting foodndrink some time ago.
When they first joined AW I registered with them because they promised to send a free barbecue pack to everyone who registered. I didn't receive it. I won't promote companies who don't deliver what they promise.


The 'your merchants' thing is very slow, it has been for a few days. Have you tried getting a daily breakdown for a merchant? Whenever I try it times out, so I can't get to see the report.

I bought 2 CD's through CD Wow this week, still nothing pending, but I'll give it untill I receive them before I ask any more questions...

Still nothing even pending for the 2 CD's I bought from them...
