I had a call recently from James the new affiliate manager for Mexicana who advised me of their affiliate competition. Its a chance for yoursleves to win £100 worth of goods from their site this christmas.
mexicana sell unusual silver jewellery for men and women and offer 5% commission on all sales.
Ive had a sale or two recently from the program, and as the team seem quite intent on making their program a success, I thought I would give them a plug here.
some more details for you:
As I am sure you are aware Christmas is fast approaching and will soon be upon us. We would like all of us to make the most of it.
With this in mind we have:
Firstly increased your commissions from 5% to 7.5% for a trial period between now and Christmas.
Depending on the success of this we will maintain this high level hopefully for our mutual increased benefit!!
The second element of our Christmas promotions to help you is a competition for the public, which will only be promoted by you, our affiliates.
In conjunction with this we have produced a series of appropriate new banners, which will be available as usual from the AffiliateWindows.com website, look for the links with names that start with ‘Win’! This Competition will start on Tuesday 20th November so you should try and get your banners up on Monday night or Tuesday morning. It will run until midnight on Friday 30th November 2001.
While we are on the subject of banners we have produced some new banners for our fantastic new collection of cufflinks. Have a look at them here!

The third phase is an Affiliates Only Competition.
There will be three 1st Prizes of a £100 voucher for each of the winners to spend at Mexicana. You will also have a one in ten chance of winning a 50% Discount Voucher. All other applicants will receive a 25% discount voucher.
Prizes will be decided entirely on sales results between now and Christmas.
Remember, the sooner you enter the more sales will count towards your bid to win!
The competition will start on Tuesday 20th November and will run until Friday 21st December 2001.
