Thread: 2nd Tier commissions

Surely they are income for the life of your second tier affiliates. If they have stopped or are not performing then you will not get anything.

I wouldn't worry too much about 2nd tier, concentrate on your own sales they are far more profitable.

It may be that the affiliate programs I was earning 2nd tier commissions from are suspended so the affiliates who were earning these commissions are no longer earning.

I agree that concentrating on my won commissions is much more profitable.

There was a great article that I read about twotier commissions and if it was worth investing time into, Ill see if I can dig it out.
One of the things that I did agree with is, that you are not going to make your fortune with two tier commissions, unless you are a sub affiliate of the great casino or betting sites, in this case this can be lucrative ( in my personal experience)
What you need to do is to look for the programs that are truely working for you and promote the two tier as well. Programs that are making little or no revenue, I would forget.
Bountys of course are far more interesting but again only will yield a good revenue if the program or ASP is is working for you.
I have come across a few 5 tier programs and in my personal opinion is only really worth looking at if there are big commissions to be earned, again casino and betting sites.
So in conclusion, there is a place for two tier in this industry but be selective.
