  TheDemoCompany

A new merchant called TheDemoCompany has just appeared in my list of merchants not joined on AW, with the following description:

"TheDemoCompany.com builds online demo´s for UK based companies. Our customers vary from BT, Marks & Spencer to the local retailer around the corner.By the way, we are not for real, we are just here as a demo company for AffiliateWindow.com."

Is this a mistake?

Slightly confused...

Regards,
DarrenW.

Its a mistake, its a dummy account used by our sales people to show potential merchants around our merchant area. It shouldn't appear to affiliates.

I'll make sure that it is taken off. If you've joined this merchant, please leave it using your 'Current Merchants' page

Thanks

Thanks Marc...

Yes, me being the curious type, I did "join" this merchant's programme - they were offering a very generous 40% commission on sales!

I've now left the programme, and it seems to have disappeared from the homepage.

Thanks,
Darren.

I shudder to think what people would be signing up to.
