Competition £500 cash prize!

I have just started at Find-me-a-gift and affiliate schemes are fairly new to me so to start I have just launched this competition below on Monday. Only two of you affiliates out there have signed up! Whats up? Do you not need £500 are you making too much money?? Is it our creative? What? If I dont know I cant do anything about it and I want to improve things for all of us.

Dear Affiliates

As we are now into November and ever closer to Christmas I thought I would launch a new competition to drive sales this month.

I have just put four new banners on our links section listed as, NEW general gifts’, ‘NEW! Gifts for men’, ‘NEW! Gifts for women’, and ‘NEW! Gifts for children’. The Competition is open to any affiliate who puts one of these banners on their home page by November 10th and keep it there for the rest of November. They will then be entered into a draw to win a £500 cash prize.

Another way to enter this fantastic competition is any affiliate gaining over 20 sales in November will get a second entry into the competition. What are you waiting for!! Its £500 cash!

Any other comments/ suggestions are always welcomed if you need any help mail me and I will see what I can do.

We've never had much success with Findagift but it's a great prize so we'll give you another try.

BTW The £1000 Spending Spree on site expired October 31st 2005, is there another competition we can promote?

Is there a particular reason why Find-me-a-gift hasnt worked for you in the past?
I am trying to improve things here for the affiliates, early next week AW links to our homepage will have the telephone hotline number removed as that was one reason I had been given for affiliates not using us.
We are working on new creative at the moment and content units as this was another request I had.

I am also looking at putting some competions together on the site for our customers as the competions page should be filled.

I find the site quite hard to read, blue and orange are a bit clashy and the promotional graphics are uninspiring to say the least.
Given you're not going to redo the site to keep me happy(!) adding some competitions and/or freebies along with a promo code or voucher would be the next best things to do IMO.
