Under New Management!

Since the 1st of April, Alternative Gifts (
http://www.alt-gifts.com) has been under new management, and a number of exciting new changes have been made!
Unfortunately, the previous owner of the company did not understand the huge benefits that Affiliates can bring, and as such our previous support for Affiliates was sadly lacking!
Thankfully, we are changing this, and we are looking for new affiliates to join with us, and to give much more support to existing affiliates.
Exciting New Changes - Larger Product Range!

Even if you have looked at Alternative Gifts before, please take another look as many changes have been made in the last month! We have over 350 new gifts and gadgets which have been added to the site, to greatly expand the product range and the number of products that we offer, and the site should appeal to many more people than before.
As well as the new gifts and gadgets added, we have gone through the entire product range and adjusted prices to make us more competitive! We also have regular offers and promotions.
Affiliate Friendly Site

The site is now more affiliate friendly, and the telephone number has been removed from the front page, and is now only in the information pages so that people can contact us if necessary.
We offer a 60 day cookie, and a daily up to date product feed through Affiliate Window. We will also be decreasing the time it takes for orders to be validated.
Discount Code - 10% Off!

To start the ball rolling, we are offering a 10% discount code which is exclusive to affiliates, which can be given out to customers. The code is "summerishere", and can be entered on the checkout page to gain the discount of 10%.
Affiliate Competition
-------------------------
On top of this we are also starting a competition for all affiliates, new and existing, to win a £100 voucher for use on the site. Anyone who makes over 10 sales in the next fortnight will be entered into a prize draw to win the voucher (Closing Date: 3rd June 2007). We thought this was best so that everyone has a fair chance of winning, rather than the same bigger affiliates winning each time!
Increased Conversions & Order Value

Already, with the changes that have been made to the site, we have seen an increase in conversions, and also an increase in the average order value, meaning larger commissions for our affiliates!
We welcome feedback from all affiliates, as to how we can make things better and best work with you! Any ideas or suggestions you may have, please send them to me and I`ll do what I can to make things better.
