We have just been doing some research with e2save tracking and wanted to share our results.
One very disconcerting problem that arose was checking out 2 items through the basket.
Should a customer order 2 pay as you go phones the sale only registers as one commission even though the 'amount' clearly states 2 sales were made.
Secondly, and I
am sure I've missed something here, but I was under the impression that all networks were using "last cookie overide"?
We have just placed an order via
AW to e2save only to see the cookie logged as being clicked back in June. Is it the case that only different Aff IDs overide each other and that once a cookie is dropped it stays for the whole 999 days unless overiden by another affiliate?
I had this same problem with AF some time ago and they sorted it pretty quickly.
The problem that arises from the cookie not overiding itself on the same ID is that you cannot see what it is you are selling, the original tracking code variable stays the same regardless of which link you click after that.
Not very good
