Thanks,

Ouch! Haven't had them running long enough to have any useful stats but at those levels I'll be removing them again if my experience anywhere near your stats.
Tell me about it! Over £4,500 in rejected commissions. I suspect something to do with failed credit checks in which case the reporting and positioning of code is wrong and needs addressing. Will keep you posted on outcome...
I am the account manager for the Empire Stores programme. I apologise for not having replied earlier to this post. I am currently awaiting a confirmation from the merchant.
Please rest assured that I will get back to you regarding this before the end of the day.
Please feel free to contact me on any of my details below.
Thank you for passing this feedback on to me. Unfortunately the success rate of the Empire Stores’ credit applications has an effect on the approval rate of affiliate commissions on the programme. As a result, all failed applications are currently being declined.
Empire Stores have an initial credit limit of £350 (max) when shopping on site and therefore all sales from new customers with a higher value than this will be declined. Empire Stores apologise for any confusion and are currently looking to highlight this information on their website.
I am currently working closely with Empire Stores to develop a new structure that will better reward and incentivise affiliates.
If you require help in getting this message communicated to your customers eg) an affiliate landing page, please let me know.
I find this totally unacceptable. Out of the 346 orders declined approximately 10% of these are for sales of over £350. So what is their excuse now for rejecting the other 90% of these orders.
I will be removing them by the end of the week.
I will also be removing LaRedoute as they are the same company and I expect them to have the same pathetic program acceptance terms.
Why is the sale not triggered after the credit has been approved ?
Perhaps you may pass on my contact details to EmpireStores so I can have a word with them directly??? Save the merry-go-round.
I will monitor LaRedoute closely as they are seperate then.
I just received a call from Dan at Empire. Thanks for passing on my number. From what he says the number of rejections are because there is no online credit checking and this takes place after the order has been placed and as the awin tracking appears on the order confirmation page a sale is logged only to be failed at a later date when the customer credit check fails.
My advice to all affiliates would be to not make any statement as to buy now pay later/interest free credit or opening any purchase on account as it is clear to me that the majority of these orders are failing credit checks....
As I've lost a few thousand on rejected commissions and ppc camaigns I have delisted them from my sites and await program imporvements. After all there's plenty of other good paying catalogue brands that seem to have got their house in order properly....
and the Otto group - Freemans, Grattan, Look Again etc have at least a 10 day delay before reporting, although if I remember correctly, they don't have rejections, but I'd check on that first!
