Vodafone have passed on some more details about what's included in the Formula One track testing day:
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Testing Session
This is an exclusive opportunity, only available to Vodafone McLaren Partners and their guests, and provides a fascinating insight into the running of the team and an opportunity to see the drivers and their engineers at close quarters.
What to expect from a Testing Session
Unlike a Grand Prix, a test does not follow a specific schedule. During the time that the track is open, the cars can go out onto the circuit for as much or as little time as required, depending on the test schedule, which is decided by the race team. Therefore there may be times during the day when there are no cars on the track whilst work is being carried out in the pits.
Full hospitality, including a light breakfast and a buffet lunch, will be provided for you in the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes hospitality suite. Your guests will also receive a gift.
Driver Appearances
An appearance by one of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes' drivers will take place during the day.
Garage Tours
During the course of the day (schedule permitting) a member of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes personnel will escort you on a pit garage tour within a designated area. A test session is a busy working day for drivers so please be prepared to move or exit the garage if requested by team personnel.
