As soon as I see "in order to improve our service to you" I know it's time to drop another non-performing merchant.

I spent about 5 hours building a Mattress affiliate site as their EPC was really good on AW a few months back. Luckily I accidently ran a check of the affiliate link urls after I finished of about 25% were all broken or went to error pages. Requested a new feed many times but no replies and when I last looked the old feed was still up on AW.

I gave up in the end but will look for a new merchant to promote, this is not a good way to promote your site. I had the new site, branded and built and prepared to throw some good ppc cash at it but they just couldn't be arsed so sod em'.

I'm starting to think that affiliate managers with this cull mentality have borderline obsessive compulsive disorder. They literally can't bear the thought of all these non-performing affiliates cluttering up their lives, and want rid of them. It's an over obsessive attention to detail, that is actually detrimental to their job.

Anyway, that's enough psychobabble. I'm not going to rollover and accept this, I'm going to spring into action and promote someone else.
