While it's nice to see Sheilas Wheels giving another network a go, forgive me if I express my concern.

Weren't they suspended by OMG, TD recently for not paying? I've certainly still got outstanding issues... and suspicious rejections.

Before we all go out of our way again to relaunch campaigns, can we get some assurance that AMs will actually get paid this time before SWs do a runner or get suspended?

Unfortunately we've seen this sort of network jumping before, with predictable outcomes.

Let me address a few of these issues.

Bud - as I understand it the payment issue was due to TD systems – not something Sheilas’ Wheels was responsible for. In terms of their history with OMG, I obviously can't speak for them, but my understanding is that the programme was suspended due to contractual issues. I would recommend speaking to OMG themselves about any problems you have had with rejections.

For our part, Affiliate Window pays affiliates twice a month, in many cases before we get paid by the merchants themselves. We are therefore committed to honouring validated, legitimately-generated affiliate commissions regardless of whether we ourselves have received payment.

As for the point about the rejection rate, we have worked hard with Equi=Media and Sheilas’ Wheels before the programme launched to resolve these issues, and this was why the launch was delayed for so long. We have put in place a new tracking solution to help us with the match-back process which we expect will limit the rejection rate to no more than 10%.

We are committed to doing regular validations and, as described in my initial post above, these will be done on or around 17th of each month.

just wondering - if you pay out before you get paid, is there any chance of you clawing back commissions that have been paid out but later declined by SW?

Hi Commanche,

In short, no. We do not pay affiliates on pending commissions, only those that correspond to transactions that the merchant has confirmed. If Sheilas' Wheels has confirmed with us that commissions can be awarded to you, and you have been paid them by us, the rest is between us and the merchant.
