If it was a while back it is probably fixed now so you can use IE again if you wish. (Although tbh, it looks better in Firefox )

I still have to login manually every single time, in both IE and FF. I have probably had to login about 50 times in last few weeks (though I do visit this site a lot ) and it's frustrating.

I don't have this issue with any other forums, so don't think it's anything to do with my browser. I don't delete cookies.

    Thanks a million.

I am the biggest fan in the world of these forums, but the login issue is also seriously discouraging me from visiting these forums. It is so frustrating to have to manually log in every time. I don't have that issue with a single other site. I now visit a4u less often than at any time in the last 10 years.

I have also heard from several other people that they don't like to visit the new a4u as they have to keep logging in manually

Come on Existem mates. You've got brilliant programming whizz-kids there and I know you can fix it

    Cheers. Really appreciate it.

I have a pretty similar problem too where I can login fine but once i try to post or goto the forum I am logged out this only happens in Firefox, as you can see i can post and stay logged in when using I.E.

Yup same problem here, but its not so bad in Chrome - in Firefox its useless, login ok at the landing page - then get logged out when clicking through to forum. Same error on different machines, so I am guessing its not my Cache

Still getting this problem with Firefox 3.6.13. I always get Cookies have become dysynced - please re-login in the top right hand corner. NP in Safari or IE.
Hopefully will be resolved soon, its a real PITA.
    Thanks

I know the wonderful Existem guys have been trying hard to resolve this, and I'm sorry to moan about it again, but I'm also still having to login every single time I visit a4u forums. Had to manually login hundreds and hundreds of times.

    I'm using Firefox 3.6.13 on a Windows 7 machine.

Just a note to say I have this at work too. On my lunch hour of course .

So behind a proxy if that does hold any relevance. I can login fin and navigate the site until I go to the forum where I am logged out.

If I try to post and then login I get redirected to the user admin page and then I get logged out when I go back to the forum.

Tried all the usual stuff - clear cookies etc. Using IE 8.

    No probs at home.

    Cheers.

I can't stay logged in using Chrome.

When I log in there is no option to check to remember me or keep me logged in.

I think my ISP uses a proxy.
