Constant 'E01: Cookies have become dysynced - please re-login' message

I seem to be constantly being asked to re-login with the error message "E01: Cookies have become dysynced" - it seems to happen randomly if I move between sections of the forum or if I don't refresh the forum within about 20 minutes.

Can this be looked at please. It is very annoying to constantly have to relogin

This has been raised many times and sadly they don't seem to ever resolve it. In the first thread below they tried and nearly fixed it, but it soon came back, see thread 2.

Hi,
We are hopeful that this cookies issue has now been resolved. If you see the "cookies have become desynced" message again, please post here and let us know the circumstances in which it occurred, e.g. how long you had logged in for, how long you had the site open but were inactive (i.e. not doing anything on the site), what parts of the site and forum you were visiting, whether you had previously logged out last time you visited, etc.

Just got this error again, here is what I did:

-Went to site on my ipad via bookmark
-Logged in, all worked ok
- Viewed new PM
- Went back to forum, now logged out with error message as above.

Usually happens to me from signing-in, to private messages and then to 'new posts'.

Thank you for your posts; the problem seems to have been considerably reduced, but not entirely eliminated. We will continue to tweak our system to resolve this.
