Allowed &subid= characters

does anyone know if I can use dashes (-) in the subid parameter of links on Affilinet?

Hi Barry,

No you can’t use dashes only numbers and letters. It can be up to 80 characters.

will it just strip any non allowed characters out? Or will it just not track the link?

Only this is the way my internal website tracking works
-1. tracks how the user got to my site, 2. what keyword they used and 3. what link on the site they excited from. And they all may contain charcters that are not allowed and are separated by dashes.

These will not affect your tracking.
