Shopping.com launch with affilinet
We are delighted to launch shopping.com on the affilinet network.
Initially, we will be looking for partnerships with affiliates wishing to maximise the shopping.com product feed. Traffic will be paid on a CPC basis (not exit click) with traffic going directly to shopping.com's advertisers.
affilinet are offering all the flexibility of the shopping.com API combined with the following benefits of working with affilinet:
1) Tracking code already implemented through affilinet’s solution - affili XML pro.
2) Commissions prepaid by affilinet – commissions paid within 2 weeks of the month end
3) Day to day account management by affilinet
4) Fast turnaround on technical issues
We will be offering the same rates as the shopping.com in-house program with an introductory offer for new affiliates for 2 months. Full rates attached.
Shopping.com, an eBay company, pioneered online comparison shopping and today is one of the fastest growing shopping destinations for a comprehensive set of products from thousands of trusted stores from across the Web. With around 40 million unique global visitors each month, shopping.com offers shoppers easy-to-use search tools, engaging content and time saving navigation, along with millions of unbiased product and merchant reviews from the Epinions community, all in one place.

Hi everyone,
We have had some requests for information on affili XML pro, so here is a short summary of the solution...
affiliXMLpro is a proxy-service that eases the request and implementation of XML feeds from our advertisers. Once you've been accepted to a program you can directly request the advertiser’s XML feed through the solution. We will automatically transform any given XML deep link into a valid affilinet tracking link.
What are the benefits of affiliXMLpro?
1) Flexibility: you can query the data in the same way you can via shopping.com's own API
2) Save time: you don’t have to adapt the code individually to integrate the affilinet tracking
3) Performance optimisation: affiliXMLpro is designed to provide the highest levels of streaming performance
4) Improved transparency: the performance of XML data can be monitored via your creative stats
5) Multiple advertisers: you will be able to use multiple feeds from different programs without any individual adaptation (coming soon)
If you have more specific questions please contact me and I can get our technical team to help out
Cheers. Pete.

Is this AffiliXMLpro solution an affilinet development? Is it relevant for other merchant programs? I've had some tech probs getting XML working in the past - will this help?

Hi Matt - this is specific to Shopping.com at this stage. Affiliates can grab xml via our API/Webservices - it can be a little complicated but am happy to help with any questions.
Love the blog BTW ;-)
Cheers. Pete.
