IFrames and affiliate network tracking
Before you think I'm going to ask about sneaky things, I'm not!
Our site employs IFrames to load affiliate websites into. These are only ever used when displaying codes, and are ALL user initiated. We opted for this approach because we thought that pop-ups/pop-unders weren't exactly great for UI.
However after reading some of the threads here, it seems as though tracking may not work correctly in IFrames. Does anyone have experience of this? It'd be a shame to lose them but we'll have to if we're not going to be tracked correctly... Of course I'll be monitoring our affiliate network clickthrough counts and comparing them with our internal counts.
Anyway, I hope someone has experience with these - it'd be good to hear about whether this works...
