    Morning all,

After the A4U expo in Edinburgh I thought I'd pop up here to see what was going on and get some feedback.

I've recently completed (but still adding too) my pressure washer site, a self explanitory site with Amazon affiliate links.

I just want to know your thoughts and comments on the design, ease of buy and comparison table on the homepage.

I've never really made any money before via the affiliate route so all comments are welcome, good and bad, as long as they're constructive!

With the site on the first page of Google.co.uk for the singular term, I'd be grateful for some guidance on maximising my conversion rate

I've had some feedback over at AcornDomains.co.uk and subsequently added a video to YouTube and getting more products added.

    Thanks in advance,

    Khalid.

nice big 'buy now' button - I like it!

Why only Kärcher though? I know they're the most well known brand, but do you think it would be worthwhile including other brands?

Thanks for your comment. I was once told by a rather successful friend of mine that he had (and these are his words) a "Big F**k off BUY NOW button" and it helped...so I thought I'd do the same!

As we speak more reviews are being written for Bosch and Sealey washers, Karcher is just the industry leader so they came first

    Hey,

On the front page I'd change the wording of the buttons, "Click Here" doesn't really say much to the user as to why they're clicking there. As per the individual pages, "Buy Now" would probably work better mate.

Other than that: nice, clean and uncluttered.

I'm trying to put product feeds in like the ones you have on the front page. Can I ask, will they update themselves automatically like a banner would? (price, new model etc) or is this something you have to manualy manage?

Apologies for the probably simple question, bu I'm new and confused!

Site looks good by the way, even in mobile mode, loads fast and looks clean and tidy.

Nice niche khalidwa and I like your site. Where did you go for your voice over for the intro video?

This creates a very professional image having a tailor made video like this. I would put this video within your intro text on your home page. Perhaps put together another video for a featured pressure washer and allow users to click through from the video to your affiliate link, once they have watched it.

How many sales are you making each week/month? Is your traffic 100% organic or do you do PPC too?

    Hi Steve,

if you type in voiceover in Google there's plenty of people available, from about £30 upwards.

All the traffic is organic and I'm working on improving the SEO position.

I intend to manipulate the template to include the video etc on the homepage so thanks for the advice.

    Hi,

Nice looking site, should do well...

I agree with what others ahve said, more makes and models and reviews of these would be great, you can never have enough content, get some link building going.

A question on the video and voice over, did the company who did the voice also create the video, I typed voicover in Google but I really woudl like to find a company to produce a short vidoe and do the voice, can you help

I think you have a winner here. I recently bought a Kärcher and what struck me was the larger number of models they offer. Pitching the various models shoulder to shoulder like you have addresses this confusion.

Thanks very much. No, I made the video myself and bought the voiceover separate.

Thanks for your positive comments, much appreciate. Fingers crossed it'll be a winner!

Just my opinion... but I think the site is really good and very informative. Perhaps too informative. I actually found it easy to use the site without clicking on any of the affiliate links.

When I went back to the site, I noticed that most of the links require the user to scroll down the page.

Perhaps, putting some more "in yer face" clickable buttons, in the upper half? Also, How about putting the video on the homepage? thats a good eye catcher. ........ ooops just noticed, the video is on the homepage, soz! lol

I'm wondering if it's worth driving traffic to Amazon for such expensive items given the 7 pound maximum commission limit.

If I were you I would be looking for a better merchant, for these products.

Since Amazon introduced that 7 pound limit, it's not reallly worth anymore using them as a merchant for anything that costs more than 200 pounds or so.

Other than that, the site looks good to me.

Site looks really nice - bit jealous

For VOs/voice overs then here are some good places to find voice over artists:

    Voice Overs Offers and Requests
#1 Voice Over Exchange for VoiceOver, Voice Overs,Free VoiceOver, Free VoiceOvers, Voice Over Talent and Voice Actors - Radiodaddy.com

Both sites (the first one is mine) offer free voice overs, to some degree, but if you pay you'll get choice of your voice over talent.

You can get a decent dry voice read done from about a fiver up.
