Analysts claim that by 2013 mobile browsing will override the normal browsing from laptops or home. Which means that it may become the biggest source Traffic.

Probably when we get to 2013, the mobile advertising field will be flooded like today:

    Google
    AdCenter
    Facebook

Which means that now there is a chance to go in there.

What do you think would be the best way to do so?

You should consider what kind of support your website provides to mobile users. The bare minimum you should consider is removing all Flash based content do its viewable on iPhone, HTC and Blackberry devices.

If you're really serious about your mobile audience, consider having a special website made just for your mobile visitors

You must take in consideration what kind of traffic you get with mobile phones. Because there is a difference when it comes to what people search for when they use a mobile phone.

Just from my perspective as I've started to consult for mymcart.com as well as being an affiliate and running an SEO agency is that Iain is bob-on.

Over the last month 25.73% of my own traffic is classed as "mobile" via G. Analytics and 8.51% being iPhone in particular. This is perhaps more than the 11% that Kevin Edwards mentioned last month - purely because my stuff is heavily content based.

I view providing for mobile users as an affiliate is like people talking about pensions: you know you need to sort one out but you come up with a million excuses not to do anything about it.

This year I've lost a fair whack in commissions by not "thinking mobile" sooner.

Mobile traffic is definitely on the rise. You'd be crazy not to optimize your sites for mobile if you ask me.
