    I've been trying to use agitated vi shortcuts in gmail all day. definitely a warning sign. :w!

    I can code with note pad, but if im feeling lazy (which is most of the time) i use a wysig called Microsoft expression web:tup its superior to any other ive used, in my opinion.

    I learnt to code html/xhtml correctly in notepad a couple of years ago after reading a book called Sams teach yourself and using its companion site The 24-Hour HTML Café

    After years using Canvas for graphics and hand coding in Textpad, I've just discovered the free programs Inkscape for the vector graphics and Kompozer for the WYSIWYG.

    Kompozer is the evolution of the defunct NVU and works really well for small sites. And it doesn't crash when opening a php file - handy when using php includes navigation blocks.

    photoshop illustrator for design

    notepad for coding

    msword for spell check

    dreamweaver for global search and replace - CS4 still doesnt support CSS correctly

    I used dreamweaver and Photoshop (Both CS3) does what i want and id never ever use everything they offer in a million years
