any suggestions where to register AU first or second leve domains without living in Australia ?

You must have a physical presence to get a .com.au domain but there is one way round this. Hire a Virtual Office and use that as the physical address for your business in Australia then you qualify for a .com.au domain.

Yes, thats the problem and thats why I search such a service, good, but not to expensive. I smple like to start "play" with such a domain.

you need to register an Oz company and then buy domains that are only associated to that company business.

Types of Company
There are many different ways in which investors can conduct business in Australia, including corporations, branch offices, subsidiaries, trusts, joint ventures and partnerships. However, for international investors, the most appropriate vehicles are usually Australian subsidiary companies or Australian branch offices.
