    Support the active networks

    Current Ethical active networks: Paid On Results, Affiliate Future, Buy.at, Affiliate Window, DGM, OMG (Online Media Group) and Smart Quotes
    Unsure on others views on this but perhaps it would show our appreciation to the networks who have our interests at heart and not just their own bank account is we made a list of merchants who are available on more than one network so in the instance where they are on a network who still support by implication with the like of 180 solutions and one who doesn't then we could maybe swap some links to the networks who have taken the stand?!
    So Paid On Results, Affiliate Future, Buy.at, Affiliate Window, DGM, OMG (Online Media Group) and Smart Quotes merchants may get given that extra bit of consideration before the other networks (this list can be updated with any other networks who finally get their priorities straight)...

    This was a very quick list off the top of my head for starters. If people think it's a good idea add others you know of and I'll update this list.

    Thanks Darling - TD ---> AffiliateFuture
    Accucard – CJ + TD ---> Buy.at
    MoreThan - CJ ---> Buy.at
    Lloyds TSB – CJ ---> Buy.at
    Newitts – TD ---> Buy.at + DGM
    Kids Window - CJ/TD ---> Buy.at
    MFI - CJ ---> Buy.at
    Oddbins - TD ---> Buy.at & AffiliateWindow
    Virgin Wines - TD ---> Buy.at
    EPC Buyer - TD ---> AffiliateFuture
    uSwitch - CJ ---> OMG
    Marks and Spencer - CJ ---> Buy.at
    Cotton Traders - TD ---> Buy.at
    Carphone Warehouse – TD ---> Buy.at
    Furniture 123 - TD ---> Buy.at
    CD WOW - TD ---> Buy.at & Affiliate Window
    Cottages 4 u - TD ---> Buy.at + DGM
    Oddbins – TD Buy.at & Affiliate Window
    Direct Line Loans - TD ---> Buy.at
    Citbank - CJ ---> Buy.at
    Alliance & Leicester Loans – TD ---> OnlineMediaGroup
    Vouch4Me - TD ---> Paid On Results + DGM
    Morgan Stanley - CJ ---> SmartQuotes
    Barclaycard - CJ ---> SmartQuotes
    Capital One - CJ ---> SmartQuotes

    Also, POR have a number of suitable merchants to swap to, such as why not move some of your lingerie listings from TD & CJ to Natural Instinct on POR which is a great program, also move some more gadget and mobile phone listings over too.

    Cheers
    Wardy

    Edit: Updated to add Affiliate Window, OMG and SmartQuotes to the active networks and also add PaidOnResults and SmartQuotes merchants.

    Thanks to 999gi, kbudden, Perfiliate, Tyson Pearcey, Supecod, Jenny

    Edit: Updated to add DGM in to the ethical networks list. CJ UK, TD and Advertising.com we like to see you on this list also.

    do we have awareness of the CJ position? We know other networks don't have a positive stance but remember CJ taking some action or at the very least talking about it.

    This is because there are some programmes on CJ that can be found elsewhere?

    If so could someone add them to this thread (and delete this post to keep it uncluttered)?

    Also AW, Ad.com - am unsuare on their position too. I think for now we have to assume silence/inaction as being a bad sign (there has cerrtainly been enough opportunity for networks to make their position clear).

    I guess the networks themselves will most easily be able to identify those merchants that are also on other networks.

    Perhaps if no-one minds, we could ask these "Active Networks" to post their relevant programs.

    I dont think this is bad form for them to do this in these circumstances given the lack of action from the others.

    I'll happily switch firebox to AF if they can PM me details on getting feeds and deep linking syntax. I think Im probably one of their top affiliates so it should make a small statement.

    Hi

    I am caught between two minds here as I know the position of active non active.

    Suffice to say we have 15 programs with duality with other networks. I guess really it is up to you guys to find who is active or not.

    Questions to ask is

    180 free or not

    Affected by norton or not

    Pay in Sterling or not

    Pay on time or not

    All I can say is we come out a yes on the above so for the 15 programs we do have the choice is yours.

    ... am in the process of changing over now (there are loads of 'em once you start, and I'm sure I've still missed some..) ...

    Pricerunner (c/w cookie & swift validation...) ------> AF
    Play and Win ----->AF
    Goblin Direct ----->AF
    Sex in the UK / Date the UK -----> AF
    Lucky Surf -----> AF
    YourPriceFurniture ----> AF, Buy.at, Awin
    Cotton Traders -----------> Buy.at
    Blushing Buyer -------> Buy.at
    CD Wow ------> Buy.at, Awin
    Furniture123 ----> Buy.at

    Further to these, we will also be worth thinking a bit more laterally, in actually changing over to alternative merchants - e.g. Blackwells books over at buy.at - great commission, top name, but probably featured less than others....

    EDIT: Due to Awin no longer being anti-affiliate - hope others will follow..

    Do you have proof of this then drooper? It appears to be contradictory to their Code of Conduct

    I've attached a spreadsheet with all the merchants on our network that you can move links from other networks to us.

    If anyone needs a hand please let me know.

    for people that are intersted - you could move 59 merchants from other networks to AF (and probably get paid a month earlier too)

    But the article referred to is from 2002 and pre-dates the Code of Conduct.

    So the question has to be - having implemented the Code, is CJ actually standing by it and ensuring that any companies operating parasiteware are not longer on the network.

    Perhaps this is a question that one of CJ's larger affiliates should be approaching them with.
