Why didn't I think of this before?

This is so dumb of me, but why don't ethical merchants clearly display on their program page at TD and CJ that they are AdWare free programs?

It isn't a huge thing but it might help towards making the networks feel more uncomfortable about partnering with AdWare providers.

It would also be a green flag for affiliates (hopefully they will recognise that the merchant is Pro Active and on their side)

Maybe you could mention it to the receptive affiliate managers of the 2 big networks as you go along?

I had raised this with TD (details) but hadn't heard anything back.

Since then it looks like they have got halfway there with the alerts for merchants (as posted by you) but no additional info for affiliates.

I think this might be something that merchants need to push for to separate themselves out as safe to work with.
