Now ive got sommat on PC and its really anoying, pop ups all over and very slow connection.

thing is I cant get rid of it, run adaware and spybot.

adaware doesnt find anything, spybot finds these:

MediaPlex (1 entries)
Avenue A, Inc. (1 entries)
Doubleclick (1 entries)
DSO Exploit (5 entries)
Valueclick (1 entries)
WebTrends live (1 entries)

so i click fix, it says great work all done. restart and its the same. could someone please help me get rid, thank you

I had an issue with DSO exploit - the general articles I found on the web suggested the spyware removal tool arent usually succesful, but i did find this:

Careful in the registry though - double check everything before you change things!

Hi Morley,
Have you tried having a look in the start-up file in MSconfig ?

You may well find the culprit in there.

cheers ladies

i checked the startup in MS config and unchecked the boxes of owt that looksed funny, and deleted the things they were trying to start. but still starts.

going to try the stuff in the link now Chris, but I dont like playing i nthe registry.... I tend to break things

Chris are you a member of experts-exchange just it wants me to pay to find out the solution. which seems gay just wondering if you could copy and paste it

spyware steals stuff, then the anti spyware companies / people who know how to fix it charge you to do so. maybe there working together
