Do you think Moss Brothers would be open to selling vouchers online? That way suit hire vouchers could be promoted by affiliates, the vouchers would be posted to the customer (or printed if they can build the facility to do that), who then goes to the store for the fitting and collection of the suit.

Would be ideal for weddings etc.

I do apologise for jumping the gun - I've asked for confirmation on whether the hire section can be completed online.

I've also already mentioned the possibilites of a discount code to coincide with their launch. When I receive a response which should be shortly, I'll let you know.

So the main selling point can't be completed on line and we are going to get a 'go looking for a voucher code' box at the checkout as well?

I've received confirmation that you cannot hire online - just yet! It’s a work in progress.

They've currently released a voucher code of suits15 which offers 15% off all online sales until Monday the 20th.

Not much use to me without the formal wear hire. Is this likely to be implemented very soon?

And if it's going to be a while, why not offer customer VOUCHERS (not a voucher CODE or discount CODE!!) that can be bought online and exchanged in store for suit hire? That way, we can promote suit hire.

Firstly, bear in mind that the programme has just launched. I appreciate the suggestions but we're only on day two.

Secondly, what you're asking for is Moss Bros to implement a structure whereby vouchers are sold online and then redeemed in-store. They have over 150 stores, this would require a lot of work. I will put the suggestion forward to them nevertheless.

They have confirmed that the online hire section of their site is due to be released early next year, but obviously can't promise or give a more specific date.

I'm disappointed that you're both unimpressed, I can only apologise.

Im not unimpressed, its a great brand to have on board! I just thought of a solution for affiliates to push the service that Moss Brothers is best known for - I figured you may want to suggest this to them so posted it here.

I believe Moss Brothers sell vouchers in store anyway, so it can't be that much of a job can it? Just adding the vouchers as a product to their product feed and providing a link to buy them. If you include an offer such as buy £100 worth of suit hire vouchers for £90 (ie, 10% off suit hire when you BUY online) then you'd be onto a winner.

It was just a suggestion so that we don't have to wait 6 months to promote Moss Brothers suit hire range - fair enough if they don't take it on board, but if you are looking to get the most out of the affiliate channel quickly, this could be one way to do it.
