Where are we falling down as a network for you?

Hi

Never been afraid to jump in with both feet :-)

What I would like to do here is start a thread for constructive critiscm which we can use to improve our service to you the affiliate.

Basically without affiliates there is no affiliate network and so although we like to try and add plenty of value to Merchants ultimately our success will always lie in you guys having little or no problems with our network.

Everyone likes to think they are doing great but in reality there are always areas which you are not doing well and I want to hear them so we can change them for you.

Dont be shy and most certainly dont be kind

If you have praise for us great but not in this thread - all I want to hear are woes and complaints - not so much the I sent you an emai 2 minutes ago where my reply kind lol but more the " your new programs are not conveyed very clearly in my managment area " type comments.

I feel we have been on the rise in terms of popularity among networks and want this to continue so thought a thread where we get ripped to bits would help

Am i insane ? probably but what the hell

  Recruitment

Hi
It would be nice if there where a % of earnings for referral of new members rather than the £1 referral fee.
I know this might be a pain to impliment, but POR, AW and AF do this (IIRC)

Also it would be nice to have dynamic creatives via XML where you just pass the merch ID, Searchterm and your affil ID (like AW / Amazon WS).

Other wise I see no real ommissions with the network.

Would be nice if you could run a report or whatever date range you set to show pendings, deleted and confimed sales.

nothing really though, would just save a bit of time every now and again

  Hi

Hi

thanks Sci find

I dont see a huge harm in having a program like this so it will definately go down as a suggestion - there may be other reasons why we have not done it but i will see.

On the creative front I like the Amazon one ( have not used the AW one yet ) I can see it being handy

  Hi

Hi

Ok Morley dont see why this couldnt be done

Dont put your suggestion down though - basically even if its nothing really in your eyes it may be that time wise and resourc e wise its nothing for us to do and that extra little pian taken away could improve your working day so i think all suggestions are important even if tey are minor changes.

Maybe not what your looking for but I sent a couple of P/M's around the G2G that you never got time to answer. Not having a pop - just that if your so busy maybe you need help in this area.

BTW - my problem sorted now.

  Hi

Hi

granted that was a busy period and gald you got your problem solved.

As an aside to the thread pm in the forum is maybe not ideal to grab me if your request is time sensitive - if your having probs getting me then direct email or best is the phone - aorund the GTG I was flat out organising things so was a bad time - as we grow though I think more staff to make sure we keep our responsivness is an area we will be looking at.

1)deeplinking to specific products (s'ok i'll keep bringing it up)

2)there are inconsistencies in traffic vs leads/ sales with certain merchants, which also happens with the other networks so, is not just a buy.at problem - but seeing as you guys are really pro-affiliates, could you kick such merchants up the butt and tell them to sort it out?

3)is there a way to link from the affiliate summary overview page to the merchants page for links, banners, merchant info etc without having to go to the approved programs page?

(if all else fails....i think reminding you that Liverpool snaffled Newcastles 4th place will make you cry)

Keith seems to know their stuff
I'd like to see alternative linking methods rather than text links and banners,

for example:

search boxes, booking engines, registration / application forms

1. Lack of creative updates (Mecca are still showing Phil Mitchell on their buttons) - shows the program is either not being looked after, or bothered with.

2. Lack of program development - added incentives to push programs, tiered rewards, that kinda thing. It's great you're getting new merchants, but don't let it be at the expense of looking after and improving the existing programs.

3. Inconsistency in conversion is something I've raised a couple of times with you, and I still cannot figure why a program converts at x% for a period of time and then completely stops with no obvious changes in traffic and targetting from the affiliate side.

Pity Newcastle didn't beat Southampton too

Jason
