Hi all,
Firstly thanks for flagging up your concerns on this one, all feed back is good feedback. We are aware of everything that has been mentioned here and between myself, buy.at, and buycosmetics.com we are addressing any issues that have arisen since the new platform went live and resolving them. I’ll do my best now to give you and update on where we are and how things are going.
First off, please note that as soon as the buy cosmetics website experienced issues we immediately sent out an email to inform affiliates. Where possible I personally got in touch with those running paid search campaigns and advised them to pause until I gave the all clear again. I know those paying attention to this thread can vouch for this one
At the beginning of the month we experienced a period of 5 days where tracking wasn’t working 100% - This is clearly unacceptable and I have asked buy.at to calculate the average earnings of every affiliate on the program and pay compensation for that 5 day period.
With regards to the datafeed, buy cosmetics are currently improving their existing one and incorporating all the new products, new information and most importantly the new urls and deeplinks. The old feed will still work (old links automatically pointing to new) and I will endeavour to push through the new one asap.
Ceetee, if you believe there is an issue with cookies please provide me further information an I will address this as a matter of urgency.
As far as I’m aware cookies are being set correctly and that daily sales and tracking on the program look just as they were before. In many cases stats are even better now that the new site has gone live. Looking at the daily sales data I can see exactly when the “click” occurred and when the sale happened. I have asked buy.at to looking into this and I’m sure they’ll be able to say the same thing.
Thanks
Paul.
