Re: Back To School With Adams Kids
Hi Guys,
Apologies for the delay, below is an official statement from Adams Kids:
Following recent media speculation, Myriad Childrenswear Group Limited
("Mriad"), Britain's leading independent retailer of children's
clothing, confirms that it has commenced a process to secure the future
growth prospects of the group. This is likely to involve the sale of an
interest in all or part of the group.
PricewaterhouseCoopers has been appointed to handle this process, which
is expected to be completed in the early part of 2007.
Myriad is a multi-channel retailer, that trades out of 330 stores in the
UK and Eire, mainly through its adams kids chain. In addition, the group
has an exclusive supply agreement with Boots for its mini mode
childrenswear range, and supplies the TU clothing range to Sainsbury's.
The Group is also expanding internationally and has now more than 100
franchise stores in 14 countries.
Dean Murray, Chief Executive Officer commented: "Myriad has undergone
considerable change and recovery over the past 18 months, positioning the
group for future growth. This is the right time to review our ownership
structure and invite offers for our business.
If anyone has any further questions, please direct them to my email address below.
Many thanks,
