Anybodys classic leads commission total adding up right?

Hi Zaq,

In response to your query, the Capital One programme is paying commission for the following applications;

Classic card - £23 for accepted applications, £8 for referred
Platinum Cashback card (and all cards present on the multi-product landing page) - £10 per submitted applications

The classic card and the platinum cards are tracked in our systems using a differentiator in the 'Class name' field. You can view the different class names by going to Reports>Customise report and the click the 'extra info field' to check that the commission value present corresponds to the card applied for by customers.

Does that mean if someone clicks through on a platinum link and takes a classic card, and vice versa, it will be the correct chosen card rate which is tracked, rather than the link they arrived on?

Hi Ferryman,

Commission is paid on confirmation of application to the Capital One site. As a result if a customer goes through the multi-product landing page, and selects the Platinum cashback card, the affiliate will be paid £10 for the submitted application.

If a customer goes through the generic landing page, i.e. the classic card page, and then goes to the 'view all cards' page, and clicks to apply for the platinum cashback card, the commission will be paid to the affiliate on the latter card commissio rate as this is the card the customer is applying for.

This has been set-up in such a way to ensure that affiliates are paid for all applications for all of the cards present on the capital one site.
